Independently tests the integrity of radio comms, checks telemetry, and alarms at remote sites on a state wide basis. Additional screens illustrate the ability to zoom in to assist with problem identification and to display remote telemetry.
The Radio Control Unit (RCU) is a custom hardware development for the State Mobile Radio Network Service Performance Monitoring (SMR-SPM) project. It connects to a Simoco SRM9000 Radio Transceiver allowing it to operate as a Test Transmitter Receiver (TTR) in Trunked & Conventional modes of operation.
The Radio Test Robot-Trunked/PMR (RTR-T/P) is a custom hardware development for the State Mobile Radio Network Service Performance Monitoring (SMR-SPM) project. It connects to the SMR MAP27 Gateway & Digital Audio Switch (DAS) for performing Control and Traffic Channel Availability Tests on the Trunked Radio Network, & to Voter Nodes for performing Conventional Channel Service Tests on the VicPol, CFA & Melbourne Water PMR Networks.
Tests for post dialling delay, audio integrity, service tones, and automatically posts test reports on the carriers LAN/WAN.
