Originally designed to convert Calling Number Display into RS232 serial data, the CN-4750 is capable of detecting and controlling all telephone functions and facilities. It is therefore suited to computer telephony integration, allowing functions associated with the telephone to be carried out and monitored from the PC. It provides the SOHO and small business operators with features previously available only on large business telephone systems. The CN-4750 is currently available in a ten (expandable to 99) line version.
