As well as servicing the Public Safety sector, Design 2000 also designs and manufactures equipment for Emergency Service Organisations. The CFA Door Phone is a door/wall handsfree telephone that automatically connects people at unattended Fire Stations to Fire Officers at attended locations. The integrated relay output allows gates and doors to be opened remotely and even siren activation/deactivation. This model is exclusive to the Country Fire Authority of Victoria.
