D2K have been manufacturing fixed station radio terminals for the Victorian Metropolitan Mobile Radio since 2005.

In 2018 D2K released its best model yet, the FST MK4. D2K added to its already long list of features with a carry handle and the ability to program the installed radios from the rear panel. Tackling RF interference issues with the new APX 6500 series radios D2k were able to implement hardware changes from the DT-5365 project to overcome these problems.

The Mk4 was provided to Vic Police, Ambulance Victoria and the MFB with a total of 591 FSTs. The project was completed in December of 2018.
